Many experts and studies have shown that hunger affects how children behave in the classroom. Yet, when parents, educators, and policymakers worry about the educational achievement gap, nutrition seldom enters the conversation.

Hunger Impact Partners is joining forces with Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Cargill Foundation to host a Strategy Exchange, focused on the connection between food insecurity and academic performance. By increasing school meals participation, we can feed more hungry kids.
